The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based across the UK. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Hours: Typically around 09:00am starts
Pay Rate: £16.36 per hour PAYE
Location: Durham, DH1 1TF (please note that the site will be relocating to DL1 3NL)
Job Type: Temp to Perm
The role:
- Mainly collections with some deliveries
- Up to 10 stops per day
- Minimal loading and unloading required
- Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely collections/deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road
- Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups
