The role:
- Sorted and organised incoming parcels, freight, and large household appliances accurately and efficiently according to designated routes and destinations.
- Safely handled, moved, and lifted heavy white goods, including refrigerators, washing machines, cookers, and other large appliances, in accordance with manual handling procedures.
- Operated conveyor belts, handheld scanners, pallet trucks, and other warehouse equipment to support the efficient movement and sorting of goods.
- Ensured accurate labelling, scanning, and categorisation of parcels and bulky items to minimise errors and maintain operational efficiency.
- Assisted with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, securing freight and maximising vehicle space utilisation for safe transport.
