We are currently hiring MIG/TIG Welders to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy workshop environment and responsible for performing high-quality welds, using MIG and TIG techniques, to fabricate and assemble metal components.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm
Rate: £15.19

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute precise MIG and TIG welding on a variety of materials, including mild and hard steel.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment efficiently.
- Assist in the assembly of components, ensuring proper fit and finish according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Responsible for the completion of a wide range of fabrications to time to meet powder coating schedules/production requirements.
- Welding mild and hard steel ranging from 2.5mm to 20mm.
- Ensuring tooling, jigs and fixtures are fit for purpose and meet production requirements to produce components to the required standard.
- Ensuring that housekeeping of work area is maintained.
- Responsibilities as listed in Quality Control Manual and procedures to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 requirements.
- Advising Department Section Leader of defective tooling, jigs or fixtures or manufacturing problems that prevent production targets being achieved.
