The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to join our team in Coventry CV8. This is a great opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent work with flexible shift options and excellent support.

Assessments Available ASAP!

Hours:

  • Night shift positions only
  • Typical start times fall between 17:00pm and 20:00pm
  • Typically Monday to Friday but may be weekend work at times

Pay Rates:

  • £18.50 between 6am - 10pm
  • £20.00 between 10pm - 6am
  • Weekend £25.00

Location:

Coventry, CV8

The Role:

  • Shunting trailers within the yard – 40–100 moves per shift
  • Yard manoeuvring and reversing with confidence and accuracy
  • Communicating effectively with transport and logistics teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 months shunting driving experience
  • Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E)
  • Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
  • Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical)
  • Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude
