We are currently hiring a Stock Controller to join a leading manufacturer. You will be in a busy manufacturing environment, coordinating the delivery of required materials to finalise production orders, moving and storing the right amounts of materials, goods and products in the right location to feed the business's operational and customer demand.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm
Type: Temp to perm
Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets operational timescales and requirements.
- Control WIP (work in process) order and picking for operations to ensure accuracy with minimum handling and stock damage.
- Carry out stock takes and keep accurate records.
- Use an FLT when required.
- Maintain stock accuracy within the warehouse management system.
- Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to support dispatch time windows.
Competent with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, SAGE and TRELLO. Valid counterbalance forklift license. Team player with experience of working within a factory setting would be an advantage. Someone with previous experience in a similar role such as Materials Controller, Stock Controller, Inventory Controller or Coordinator would be ideally suited to this role.
