Our Client is seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Solar Designer to join their growing team. They are a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions and are committed to delivering high-quality, innovative solar designs that meet the needs of our commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for commercial buildings, including roof-mounted systems, ground-mounted systems, and carport-mounted systems.
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to determine the optimal solar system configuration.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using industry-standard software (e.g., PV Sol, AutoCAD, PVSyst, SketchUp).
- Prepare system sizing calculations, performance simulations, and energy yield estimates.
- Develop bill of materials (BOM) for solar system components.
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest solar technologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Support sales and marketing efforts by providing technical expertise and design proposals.
Qualifications:
