The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Swindon area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team on nights. Hours:Working 5 shifts out of 7 shifts across Monday to Sunday, Afters or nights Pay Rate:Afters – £15.11 per hour / Nights – £16.08 per hour PAYE. Location:Swindon, SN3 Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate The role: Delivering palletized parcels to sub depots and delivery units & conducting collections. Using tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at sub depots. Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle. Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations. Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills.
