HGV Driver New Passes Welcome in Stockport

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Dundee area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. Hours: Working 5 shifts out of 7 shifts across Monday to Sunday – Days 6am -9am start Pay Rate: Class 2 – £13.49 rising to £14.19 after 12 weeks Class 1 – £14.10 rising to £14.80 after 12 weeks Location: Dundee, DD2 Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate The role: .safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units .Typically have a run with 4 – 5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated. Using tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at sub depots. Ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle. Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations. Complete a theory and practical assessment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and then complete a few days paid training if assessment is successful. Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills.
