The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Haydock area. We are looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers (C+E) with ADR to join the team for an immediate start.
Hours: To be confirmed
Pay Rate: Β£17.00 per hour
Location: Haydock
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
- Operating a Class 1 double-decker trailer fitted with a tail lift
- Transporting Class 6.1 and 6.2 hazardous waste
- Handling hazardous waste contained in eurobins
- Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely
- Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Adhering strictly to ADR, health & safety, and road transport regulations
- Completing all required paperwork accurately
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (C+E) entitlement
- ADR qualification (Class 6.1 & 6.2 required)
- Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience transporting hazardous or waste materials (preferred)
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
- Good understanding of WTD legislation
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
