The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting Class 2 (Cat C Drivers) on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in Barnsley.Hours: Full time (5-6 nights) or part time (3-4 nights) available a week, start times range from midnight - 2am.Pay Rates:(PAYE): £14.43 p/h from 10pm onwards, £13.12 p/h from 6am onwards(ROLLEDUP) £16.16 (with holiday pay).Location: Barnsley, S74.Job Type : Ongoing.The role:Trunking, long distance driving between depots.Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision.No manual handlingMinimum 8 hours payConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.Requirements:Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.3 months' experience minimum required.No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Full understanding of WTD legislation.Benefits:Guaranteed work all year round.Minimum 8 hours pay.Clinic days on-site to support drivers with training and areas they require support.Onsite recruitment team for day-to-day assistance.For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch!TPBN1_UKTJ
