The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Lutterworth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team weekends.
Hours: Days, Saturday and Sunday (4am - 6am start typically)
Pay Rate: £13.36 per hour PAYE, rising to £14.11 after 12 weeks
Location: Lutterworth, LE17
Job Type: Weekend, Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role: Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots. Emphasizing safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation. Typically completing 1 to 2 runs during the day. Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck. Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
- Proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
