The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client,EVRi, based in the Sheffield area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team on aTemp to Perm Basis.

Immediate start!

Hours:Monday to Sunday

Monday Sunday

  • Days: Start times between 12:00 14:00

  • Nights: Start time 21:00

Pay Rates

  • Days: Β£16.50 per hour

  • Nights: Β£17.92 per hour

Temp to perm after 12 weeks.

Job Type: Temp to perm after 12 weeks

The role:

. Delivering palletised parcel to sub-depots and collection units

. Driver will be required to unload and load the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck

Perform shunting of trailers within the yard to ensure efficient operations.

Safely maneuver vehicles in tight and busy spaces.

Conduct pre and post operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.

Coordinate with the yard and dispatch teams to maintain seamless workflow.

Report any defects or issues promptly to the maintenance team.

Maintain accurate records of shunting activities and vehicle movements.

Assist with other yard duties as needed.

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).

. Experience required, especially reversing

Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)

Full understanding of WTD legislation.

Excellent communication skills.

A safety-first mindset.
