The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading across the London areas. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.
Hours:Shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12pm to 9pm.

The role:
Execute depot pull, filling the back of a trailer at the depot and transporting it to a hub.
Engage in customer work, taking the vehicle to a customer to collect a trailer, delivering it to a hub, and returning to the depot.
Assist with loading and unloading at customer sites and in the depot.
Perform drop and swap operations, sometimes using a tail lift, and occasionally doing trailer swaps requiring uncoupling the vehicle.
Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position.
Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12 pm – 9 pm (all paid at night rate).
Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
