The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Winwick area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.No Experience? Just Starting out? No problem!*Drivers need to be available for immediate start after completion of assessment*Roles Available:
- HGV Class 1 - Nights
Hours:
- Nights - Across Sunday to Friday (weekends included) - 22:00pm - 03:00am starts
Pay Rate:
- Class 1 nights - £16.56 rising to £17.26 after 12 weeks
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidateThe role:
- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
- Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
- Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license with Class 1 (category C&E).
- Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
