The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based across the UK. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.
Shifts:Shifts across Monday to Sunday
– Full time
-Part time / AD-HOC
-Weekends
Hours: Afters/Nights
Pay Rate:
Monday to Friday- £18.15ph PAYE
Saturday- £23.52ph PAYE
Over time (anything over 8 hours) Monday to Saturday- £25.25ph PAYE
Sunday- £26.25ph PAYE- Flat rate
Bank Holidays- £34.23ph PAYE

The role:
Trucking only
Engage in customer work, taking the vehicle to a customer to collect a trailer, delivering it to a hub, and returning to the depot.
Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely deliveries.
Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position.
Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
Have at least 12 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.
Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12 pm – 9 pm (all paid at night rate).
Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
