The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Belfast area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.
Hours:Monday to Sunday – up to 5/6 shifts a week (weekends included) on a rota basis.
Pay Rate:
Days – £19.00 per hour PAYE
Nights- £20.50 per hour PAYE
Location:Unit 9H, McKinney Road, Mallusk, Newtownabbey, Belfast, BT36 4PE
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
