The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a general haulage business based in Alfreton. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (C+E) and Class 2 (CAT C) Drivers to join the team.
Location: Alfreton, DE55
Job Type: Ongoing work / Temp to Perm opportunities available
Pay Rates:
- £15.40 CLASS 1
- £25 Night Out Allowance (applicable to night out/tramper drivers)
- £14.50 CLASS 2 (Also welcome same role)
Shift Patterns & Start Times:
- Start times available from 03:00-08:00AM
- Optional nights out / tramping (fully flexible and driver choice)
- Full-time and part-time work available
The Role:
- General haulage deliveries
- Operating curtainsider vehicles
- Nationwide deliveries and collections
- Minimal handball involved
- Occasional use of pallet truck and tail lift
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (CAT C) licence
- Minimum 1 year driving experience required
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
- Valid CPC and Digi Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
