The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Dartford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunters (CAT C&E) to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Saturday
Start time: Monday - 8am, Tuesday to Friday - 4am, Saturday - 2am
Pay Rate: £16.84 per hour PAYE
Location: Dartford, DA1
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
- Moving trailers and trucks around the yard
- Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E)
- 1 year experience
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
- Full understanding of WTD legislation
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position
- Excellent communication skills
- A safety-first mindset
