The Recruitment Crowd (TRC) is currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established, industry-leading client based in Warrington (WA5). This is ongoing, long-term work with consistent afternoon shifts available.

Shift Details

  • Afternoon shifts available Monday to Sunday

Pay Rate

  • £14.85 per hour (Rolled-Up Holiday Pay)

Please note: No flat PAYE option available

The Role

  • Trunking between depots, ensuring safe and timely parcel delivery
  • Collections using tail lift and pump truck
  • Occasional cage handling and on-site movement
  • Yard manoeuvring and precise reversing
  • Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle checks
  • Adhering to traffic laws, WTD regulations, and company safety policies
  • Communicating effectively with dispatch and site teams

Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
  • Up-to-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
  • Ability to pass a site assessment (theory & practical)
  • Good understanding of WTD legislation
  • Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset
