The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established transport and logistics business based in the SK15 area. We are looking for x5 HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the team with immediate starts available from Monday.

Job Type: 4 Month Contract / Ongoing Opportunities Available / Temp to Perm Potential

£16 per hour (PAYE) £17.93 per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)

Shift Patterns & Start Times:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend work available for drivers wanting additional shifts
  • Start times between 04:00 - 07:00
  • Average 10-11 hour shifts
  • Day shifts available
  • Night shifts available
  • Tramping available

Responsibilities:

  • Multi-drop deliveries and collections
  • Palletforce work
  • Customer collections
  • General haulage duties
  • Drivers must be flexible to complete Class 2 work when required
  • May involve driving 4 wheel vehicles where required
  • Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles
  • Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently
  • Working as part of a busy and fast-paced transport operation

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • Drivers must be flexible to drive Class 2 vehicles when required
  • New passes are welcome to apply
  • New pass drivers will be buddied up for their first week
  • Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
  • Valid CPC and Digi Card
  • Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
  • Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work

Immediate starts available. Long-term work with potential to continue beyond the initial contract. Potential temp to perm opportunities. Flexible shift options including days, nights and tramping. Supportive transport team and onboarding process for new passes. Consistent Monday to Friday work with optional weekend overtime.
