The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Winwick area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Night Drivers to join the team. New Pass Welcome!

Shifts: Shifts run across Sunday to Friday (occasional Saturday) - drivers must be available to work Sundays and Fridays.

Hours: Between 22:00pm - 23:59pm starts

Pay Rate: £15.56 per hour PAYE, rising to £16.35 after 12 weeks

Location: Winwick, WA2

Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate

The role:

  • Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
  • Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
  • Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
  • Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license with Class 2 (category C&E).
  • Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only).
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation.
  • Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
