A highly successful and well-established Welding Supplies business selling various Industrial Engineering and Welding Supplies, as well as Services across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the wider South East is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager within the Northern Home Counties.

The Role

  • Selling Industrial Engineering and Welding Supplies into the Engineering, Fabrication, and Steelwork sectors.
  • 50% of your role will be focused on New Business Development and 50% on Account Management.
  • You will be responsible for fully developing the existing customer accounts and prospecting for new business within the area, with particular attention being paid to Independent Business.
  • Working closely with the Head of Sales to drive sales.
  • Full P&L responsibility for the accounts which come under your remit.
  • Hitting your individual objectives whilst equally contributing to the team's goals and targets in terms of revenue and profitability.

The Candidate

  • You MUST have experience selling Industrial Engineering, Welding Supplies & Services into the Engineering, Fabrication, and Steelwork marketplace.
  • You will be looking to move forward to a new challenge.
  • You will be a natural HUNTER, a strong Business Development Manager.
  • All candidates must have a genuine passion for the industry.
  • You will be based in Bedfordshire.
