A leading provider of specialist community-based healthcare services is seeking a Deputy Operations Manager to join their growing Complex Care division. This organisation delivers high-quality, person-centred care to adults and children with complex health needs, including tracheostomy, ventilation, spinal injury, and brain injury. The Role
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll help ensure the smooth and compliant delivery of community-based complex care services across multiple regions. You'll be responsible for service performance, governance, quality assurance, and leadership of operational teams to maintain exceptional standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of complex care packages, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Support and guide Care Coordinators, Nurses, and Team Leaders.
- Lead audits, staff supervisions, and service reviews.
- Liaise with commissioners, ICBs, multidisciplinary teams, and families.
- Support the development of new care packages and onboarding of staff.
- Participate in safeguarding investigations and root cause analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement and promote professional growth within the team.
About You
We're looking for an organised, motivated leader with a passion for quality care and operational excellence. You'll bring:
- Experience in a management or leadership role within healthcare (e.g. Deputy Manager, Operations Lead, Senior Coordinator).
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to travel regionally and support operational needs.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
