My client is a rapidly growing renewable energy company looking to add an experienced Solar PV Installer to its expanding team in Hampshire. The Role

You will be responsible for the installation of Solar PV systems, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Working as part of a skilled installation team, you will play a key role in delivering renewable energy projects for customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of Solar PV panels and mounting systems on residential and commercial properties.
  • Working with GSE Integration kits and similar mounting systems.
  • Interpreting technical drawings, roof plans, and installation specifications.
  • Ensuring installations are completed in line with industry standards and company procedures.
  • Working safely at height and maintaining excellent health and safety practices.
  • Supporting the commissioning and handover process where required.
  • Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach on-site.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solar PV Installer.
  • Hands-on experience with GSE mounting systems (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of Solar PV systems and installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation guides.
  • Experience working at height and on rooftops.
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Solar PV, or related discipline.
  • ECS or CSCS Card.
  • IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Experience installing battery storage systems and EV charging solutions.
