The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tonbridge area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.
Shifts: shifts run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time or full time)
Hours: Bulk - Days, Trunk - Afternoon/nights
Pay Rate: Bulk - £15.36 per hour PAYE, Trunk - £17.75 rising to £18.25 between 10pm - 6am.
Location: Tonbridge, TN12
Job Type: Temporary/Ad-hoc/ Ongoing
The role:
- Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the hub.
- Bulk - average of 15-20 drops/collections, drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- 6 months minimum experience required.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
