The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Swindon area. We are looking for several dedicated multi-drop van drivers to join the team.
Shifts: Monday to Friday. Hours: 9am starts (45 hours a week). Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour PAYE. Location: Unit 1, Ignition Park, Dorcan, SWINDON, SN3 5FB. Job Type: Temp to Perm.
The role: Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver high value goods (parcels). Positively representing the brand, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver. Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van. Delivery of products, goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes. Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation, if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care. Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to 100 shipments per day.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driver's license.
- Multi-drop experience (preferable).
- Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
