The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and industry-leading client based in Rotherham. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 (CE) Night Drivers to join the team.
Location: Rotherham, S66
Job Type: Ongoing work / Temp to Perm opportunities available
Pay Rates: £16.50 per hour (PAYE), £18.49 per hour (Rolled Up Holiday Pay)
Shift Patterns & Start Times: Sunday to Friday, Start times between 20:00 - 00:00, 5-6 shifts per week on a rota basis, Average shift length 10 hours, Double manned runs can be 14-15 hours
The Role:
- Trunking vehicle parts to depots across the UK (Depots are located from Glasgow to Southampton)
- 12 drops per shift
- Mixture of cage work, pallets and totes
- Use of tail lift and pump truck for unloading
- Vehicles are pre-loaded before shift start
- Regular double manned runs required
- No nights out required
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence
- Minimum 2 years driving experience required
- No maximum points, however only minor offences accepted (no DR/DG offences)
- Valid CPC and Digi Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
- Must be flexible with start times and shift patterns
- Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
