Location: WF8 2 area (Pontefract)

Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour

Shifts: 7:00am - 7:00pm / 7:00pm - 7:00am

Shift Pattern Explained: You will work a rotating 3 on / 3 off shift pattern, alternating between days and nights:

  • 3 day shifts: 7:00am - 7:00pm
  • 3 days off
  • 3 night shifts: 7:00pm - 7:00am
  • 3 days off

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team. This role is key to ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient inventory management, and smooth day-to-day operations within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all systems
  • Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Manage goods in and goods out processes, ensuring all stock movements are recorded correctly
  • Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure stock availability meets demand
  • Analyse stock data and produce reports to support business decisions
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend actions
  • Ensure stock is stored safely and in line with company procedures
  • Support with audits and ensure compliance with company policies and standards

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a stock control, inventory, or warehouse role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good IT skills, including experience with stock management systems and Excel
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
