Our Client are a well-established and growing company specialising in the Multi-Utility World EV and Renewable Connections & Systems. Currently looking to add an experienced Finance Manager to the Team to be based in Northamptonshire.
The Role
- Managing the company’s financial performance by undertaking all aspects of financial management; corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, payroll, management accounts as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the financial performance of the company and support the business growth plans.
The Candidate
- Essential: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
- Very strong Excel use (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, SUMIF).
- Proven experience in financial management within a medium-to-large UK company.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Extensive experience with project related WIP/Accrued income calculations.
- Ability to review process from broad to drill down perspective and strive for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ability to manage and motivate diverse workforce.
- Proficiency in financial software.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Desirable: Utilities Industry Experience
- Construction Experience
