The Recruitment Crowd is expanding and we are recruiting experienced Childrens Residential Support Workers to join our temporary agency workforce, supporting children and young people in UK residential care settings. This is agency-based work. It is not a permanent or full-time position, and hours cannot be guaranteed. This role is best suited to professionals who already have solid experience in childrens residential care and are comfortable working flexibly across services.

- You must already have full Right to Work in the UK. Applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
Essential Experience (Non-Negotiable)
To be considered, you must have recent, paid experience working in the UK with children and young people in a residential setting. You must have:
- A minimum of 6 months experience working with Looked After Children within a UK childrens residential setting.
- Experience gained within the UK (overseas experience alone cannot be considered).
Applications without this specific experience will unfortunately not be progressed.
The Role
As an Agency Childrens Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Provide high-quality care, guidance, and emotional support to children and young people.
- Promote independence, safety, and wellbeing at all times.
- Follow individual care plans and behaviour support strategies.
- Support the delivery of safe, engaging, and age-appropriate activities.
- Accompany young people to appointments, education, and community activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including daily notes, incidents, medication, and family contact.
- Work professionally alongside internal teams and external professionals.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months UK experience working with children in residential care (essential).
- Confidence working with Looked After Children and complex needs.
- A calm, resilient, and professional approach.
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
- Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People (or equivalent) essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable).
- Full Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
