Our client is seeking an On-Site Logistics Coordinator to support the successful delivery of a large-scale 150MW solar farm with a 60MW battery energy storage system (BESS). This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of one of the UK’s most significant clean energy builds, ensuring the safe, efficient and organised flow of plant, materials, welfare units and equipment to support construction teams on site.

The Role
As the On-Site Logistics Coordinator, you will ensure the site is fully prepared for high-value deliveries throughout the construction programme. Working closely with procurement, site management and subcontractors, you will oversee delivery scheduling, documentation, site organisation and the safe movement of materials from gate to point of use.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Readiness & Coordination
- Set up and maintain welfare units in line with compound layout requirements
- Ensure delivery areas, compounds and off-loading zones are safe, organised and ready
- Act as the first point of contact for drivers, supporting site access and navigation
- Track, plan and communicate daily delivery schedules
- Check all plant and materials on arrival for accuracy, condition and documentation
- Monitor lifting operations and safe distribution of materials across site
- Report discrepancies, damages or issues in line with project procedures
- Maintain accurate records of equipment, storage locations and delivery notes
- Upload delivery documentation daily
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, H&S regulations, COSHH and site standards
About You
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in keeping complex operations running smoothly. You’ll be proactive, safety-focused and confident working with multiple stakeholders.
Essential
- Experience in a similar construction or site logistics role
- Strong knowledge of site safety, H&S legislation and compliance standards
- Highly organised with strong administrative capability
- Able to multitask, prioritise and perform under pressure
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team
Desirable
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- CSCS card
- First Aid qualification
