Salary: Up to£50,000 per year DOE About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician to join their growing team, working across commercial and industrial sites on a range of exciting projects involving solar PV systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking to expand their skills within the renewable energy sector.
Previous solar experience is not required, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities Install, gland and terminate SWA cables to a high standard.
Construct trunking, cable tray and conduit systems that are level, secure and compliant with industry standards.
Carry out LV distribution work, including panel board connections, isolators, MCCBs, RCBOs, metering and labelling.
Perform inspection and testing activities, including dead and live testing, and accurately complete EIC and EICR certification.
Support solar PV installations, including inverter AC terminations, CT installations and communications power connections, with full training provided.
Interpret schematics, cable schedules and method statements, while planning materials and proactively identifying potential issues.
Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, including safe isolation procedures, permits to work, working at height, manual handling and compliance with site RAMS.
Represent the client professionally on site, maintaining excellent workmanship and a positive attitude.
Candidate Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and 18th Edition (BS 7671).
Competence in inspection and testing, supported by City
