The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tewkesbury area. We are looking for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday (8am start - 6pm finish) - ASAP START
Pay Rate: £17.75 per hour PAYE
Location: Tewkesbury GL20 8UQ
Job Type: Short term - absence cover until 4th March
Job role: Consists of bulk collections and bulk deliveries through the day, loading and unloading may be required.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- 6 months experience required.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
