The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tuxford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT CE) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, 07:30am starts (average finish 6-7pm)

Pay Rates: £15.39 per hour Class 1 (PAYE)

Location: Tuxford, NG22

Job Type: Temp to perm position (perm after 8 weeks)

The role:

  • General haulage palletised goods (no food)
  • Curtainsiders, tail lift & pump truck use
  • Delivering to both commercial and residential properties (up to 10 drops/collections)
  • Completing all relevant paperwork and following site procedures
  • Ensuring safe handling of goods and maintaining high driving standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years Class 1 (CE) driving experience
  • ADR Packages licence preferred but not essential
  • Must be 25 (insurance purposes)
  • Maximum 6 points no DD/DR/IN endorsements
  • Full understanding of WTD legislation
  • Strong communication & customer service skills
  • Happy with both commercial and residential deliveries
