The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tuxford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 ADR Drivers (CAT CE ADR Packages) to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, 07:30am starts (average finish 6-7pm).
Pay Rates: £16.39 per hour with ADR (PAYE).
Location: Tuxford, NG22.
Job Type: Temp to perm position (perm after 8 weeks).
The role:
- General haulage palletised goods (no food).
- Curtainsiders, tail lift & pump truck use.
- Delivering to both commercial and residential properties (up to 10 drops/collections).
- Completing all relevant paperwork and following site procedures.
- Ensuring safe handling of goods and maintaining high driving standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 (CE) driving experience.
- ADR Packages licence preferred but not essential.
- Must be 25 (insurance purposes).
- Maximum 6 points no DD/DR/IN endorsements.
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Strong communication & customer service skills.
- Happy with both commercial and residential deliveries.
