We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity to become permanent.
Pay Rates: Nights: £16.16 per hour PAYE Days: £15.10 per hour PAYE Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday Night shifts: 01:00am start Day shifts: 12:30pm start, Monday to Friday Day shifts offer 56 hours guaranteed per shift (27.5 hours per week) The Role As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting palletised parcels between sub-depots and delivery units.
Duties will include: Completing deliveries, typically involving 12 stops.
Loading and unloading using a tail lift and pump truck.
Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
Driving safely and following all company procedures.
Providing professional and courteous customer service.
Emptying and refuelling the vehicle at the end of each shift.
All successful candidates will be required to complete a theory and practical driving assessment .
Once passed, you will complete several days of paid training before starting regular work.
Requirements Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (CAT C) entitlement .
Valid and in-date DCPC (CPC) and Digital Tachograph Card .
No more than 6 points on your licence minor offences only.
Good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.
Willingness to complete a driving assessment.
