The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Eastleigh area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team.
Shifts: Run across Monday to Sunday (Ad-hoc, part time, full time).
Hours: Trunk - Days, afternoons or nights.
Pay Rate: Trunk - £17.75 per hour PAYE rising to £18.25 per hour from 10pm-6am.
Location: Eastleigh, SO53.
Job Type: Temporary/Ad-hoc/ Ongoing.
The role: Trunking - Performing trunk runs to the Coventry or Ryton hub.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C E).
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- 6 months minimum experience required.
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Full understanding of WTD legislation.
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A safety-first mindset.
