Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in complex care, ideally with significant experience supporting individuals with mental health needs.
Working alongside the Service Manager, Area Manager and Head of Operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred support while maintaining compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Support the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
Lead, motivate and supervise support staff to ensure high standards of care.
Assist with recruitment, induction, training and performance management processes.
Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to monitor service performance.
Complete quality assessments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure care and support plans are implemented effectively and reviewed regularly.
Promote positive outcomes and person-centred approaches for individuals supported within the service.
Monitor compliance with policies, procedures and relevant regulations.
Support with incident management, safeguarding concerns and risk management processes.
Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is completed to a high standard.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external professionals and families where appropriate.
Support the service through a period of growth as occupancy increases.
Essential Requirements Previous experience in a Deputy Manager, Team Leader or similar supervisory role within health and social care.
Proven experience supporting individuals with complex care needs.
Strong mental health support experience.
Experience leading and developing teams.
Experience conducting audits, quality assessments and service reviews.
Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and regulatory compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and evolving service. xiskglj
