The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Crawley area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Shunter (CAT C&E) to join the team.
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday
Start time: 03:00am
Finish time: 11:30am
Pay Rate:
- 03:00am- 06:00am- £19.08ph PAYE
- 06:00am- 11:30am- £16.36ph PAYE
- Overtime: after 40 hours per week £27.26 per hour PAYE
Location: Crawley, RH10
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
- Moving Trailers and trucks around the yard
- Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork
- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E)
- 1 Years experience
- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
- Full understanding of WTD legislation
- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position
- Excellent communication skills
- A safety-first mindset
