Location: Coventry CV8 Job Type: Long-term ongoing Shift Patterns: Across Sunday to Friday (full time and part time options available) Start times windows: - 13:00pm - 15:00pm - 20:00pm - 01:00am Pay Rates: Weeks 112 (Including Rolled Up Holiday Pay) Day Shift: £19.88 Night Shift: £20.16 Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): £ Weeks (Including Rolled Up Holiday Pay) Day Shift: £20.16 Night Shift: £20.73 6th Day: £30.28 6th Night: £31.13 Bank Holiday Day: £40.38 Bank Holiday Night: £41.52Average shift length: 10-12 hours (guaranteed 8 hours) Key Responsibilities Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels containing high - value goods. Collecting high-value goods from well-known customers, including full trailer collections, drop and swap operations. Occasional handling of push roller cages as required. Precise reversing and manoeuvring in yards, including shunting duties when needed. Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Adhering to traffic laws, regulations, and company safety standards. Communicating effectively with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Full UK driving licence with Class 1 (CE) entitlement. Ability for flexibility of start times from the above windows (drivers to choose which window they would prefer) Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Maximum of 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Successful completion of assessment (theory & practical). Understanding of WTD legislation. Excellent communication skills and a safety-first mindset.
