In this pivotal role, you will lead a group of Financial Advisers, empowering them to deliver exceptional, compliant financial planning and product solutions. This is an opportunity to not only drive business growth but also to champion a client-centric experience focused on financial wellness.
Your primary purpose will be to lead and manage your team, driving business growth and ensuring the company’s footprint expands through new business and the strategic recruitment of talented advisers.
Responsibilities- Lead & Empower Your Team: Provide ongoing motivation, communication, and inspiration to your team of Financial Advisers, fostering an environment of trust and overachievement. You will embed a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability and discipline.
- Drive Business Growth: Implement tactical plans to develop and maximize new business volumes within your allocated branch. This includes actively recruiting new advisers—both new to the industry and experienced professionals—to grow and retain our market footprint.
- Ensure Excellence & Compliance: Manage and grow existing client portfolios while maintaining a strong persistency rate. You will also be the custodian of our company culture and ensure compliance with FAIS and all related legislation at all times.
- Strategic Collaboration: Act as the primary communication channel between the company and advisers, supporting the implementation of our strategic goals and leveraging digital platforms and tools to enhance efficiency.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in sales, marketing, or a related field. This qualification must be recognized by the FSCA.
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the retail financial services industry is preferred, with a proven track record in sales management and adviser recruitment.
- Relevant regulatory requirements, including RE5, and a commitment to completing RE1 within 6 months.
- In-depth industry knowledge and appropriate experience in both risk and investment FSCA categories.
