Our globally recognised client is looking for an experienced and dynamic Accounts/Treasury Assistant to join their expanding team. This is a varied and active role where you'll be part of a busy accounts department. You will need to be proactive and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner, working within a fast-paced environment with live daily accounting.
As part of this role, you'll take responsibility for:
- Daily posting and reconciliation of cash books to bank accounts
- Allocation of cash to corresponding purchase/sales ledger items
- Assisting in arranging bank payments both online and manually for both services and goods
- Maintaining the daily update of loan books and corresponding reconciliation
- Assisting the accountant with management accounts
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Balance sheet reconciliations and daily reporting
This is a fantastic opportunity and would suit someone who is AAT qualified and has experience using various accounting software, such as SQL/database (SAP/Sun/Oracle). You should be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. You will need to have strong Excel skills and be familiar with other Microsoft Office programmes, such as Word and Outlook.
As well as a competitive salary (dependent upon experience), you'll also benefit from a generous pension scheme contribution and free parking. Hours are 8.30am-5pm Mon-Fri.
