Our client is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join their established industrial supply business .
This role combines inbound sales, account management, and customer relationship building, offering a varied position within a supportive and team-focused environment.
You'll be responsible for managing enquiries, developing existing accounts, building long-term customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow sales across the customer base.

Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email, providing prompt and professional response
- Understand customer requirements to recommend suitable products and solutions

- Proactively contact existing customers to develop repeat business and maximise account potential
- Follow up on previous quotations, enquiries, and sales opportunities to convert leads
- Support Area Sales Managers with pricing, quotations, and customer engagement
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts
- Handle general customer service queries professionally and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate customer, quotation, and sales data within the CRM system
- Collaborate with purchasing, accounts, and warehouse teams to ensure excellent customer service delivery
About you
- Minimum of two years' experience in internal sales, account management, or B2B sales roles
- Confident, engaging telephone manner and excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service ethos combined with a proactive, commercial mindset
- Experience preparing and managing quotations confidently
- Highly organised, dependable, with ability to multitask effectively
- Ownership-focused, from initial enquiry through to order completion
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively within a small, dynamic environment
- Competent in CRM, email communication, and standard office software
- Experience in abrasives, tooling, engineering supplies, or industrial markets would be advantageous but not essential; strong B2B sales ability remains key
