The Opportunity

As a B2 Licensed Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring aircraft are maintained to the highest operational and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance activities, certifying work within company authorisations, and supporting operational readiness across multiple facilities and customer locations when required. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative rotary aviation environment supporting high-profile helicopter operations across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out line and base maintenance activities on Leonardo AW109 and AW139 helicopters
  • Certify maintenance work within the scope of company approvals and authorisations
  • Complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks efficiently and compliantly
  • Diagnose, analyse, and interpret technical aircraft and avionics information
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in line with regulatory requirements
  • Provide regular engineering and maintenance updates to senior management
  • Support aircraft defect investigation and rectification activities
  • Ensure operational crew members are effectively debriefed to accurately capture technical defects
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and regulatory compliance
  • Support off-site maintenance activities and customer requirements when required
  • Ensure facilities, tooling, and equipment are maintained to an excellent standard
  • Work collaboratively with wider operational and engineering teams to support business objectives
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant aviation authorities and regulations including CAA and EASA requirements
  • Participate in continuing professional development and training activities

What We're Looking For

  • UK CAA Part-66 B2 Licence
  • Experience working within rotary aviation engineering environments
  • Experience on Leonardo AW109 and/or AW139 aircraft highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of aviation maintenance regulations and compliance
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate recent and relevant maintenance experience
  • Full right to live and work in the UK
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
