As a GSE Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a varied fleet of airport ground support equipment. You will work closely with operational and engineering teams to minimise downtime, diagnose faults efficiently, and maintain equipment to the highest safety and operational standards. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of specialist airport vehicles and equipment within one of the UK's busiest airport environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on Ground Support Equipment
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical faults
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance activities
- Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately
- Support operational teams by minimising equipment downtime
- Carry out safety inspections and compliance checks
- Maintain tools, workshop areas, and equipment to a high standard
- Work collaboratively with engineering and operational departments
- Ensure all work is completed in line with company and health & safety procedures
- Support airside operations where required

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a GSE Technician, HGV Technician, Plant Fitter, PSV Technician, or similar engineering role
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working on heavy vehicles or specialist equipment desirable
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Airside or airport experience beneficial but not essential
