We are currently assisting a Dublin based company in the search for a seasoned Network & Security Architect that has expertise across firewalls in particular Palo Alto. This is a senior role and you will be one of the key players in designing the architectural strategy and roadmap in a hybrid cloud environment. The overall security team has grown massively over the past 18 months and currently sits at 21. This role will require you to have worked on enterprise networks supporting a large user environment. This will be a full time salaried role with some of the strongest benefits that the Irish market has to offer.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural strategy and roadmap for hybrid cloud environments.
- Design and influence security architecture including firewall strategy (Palo Alto).
- Collaborate with the security team and broader IT to support a large user environment.
- Mentor junior team members and act as a technical lead for projects.
Qualifications
- Strong architectural knowledge within Palo Alto.
- Experience with high-level design (HLD) and low-level design (LLD).
- Experience as a lead and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting capability including the use of tcpdump.
- Strong experience with WAF technologies across hybrid and cloud environments.
- Experience in hybrid cloud environments (ideally Azure).
- Strong communication skills.
