We’re working with a large, global organisation seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing security function. This role will focus on designing and implementing security solutions, protecting infrastructure, and supporting incident response across a complex enterprise environment. You’ll work closely with IT, applications, and compliance teams to ensure security is embedded across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security solutions across infrastructure and applications
- Support network and cloud security (firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, Azure)
- Monitor security tools (SIEM/EDR) and support incident response activities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts
- Contribute to secure architecture, threat modelling, and best practices
Key Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in Cyber Security / Security Engineering
- Strong knowledge of networking, infrastructure (Microsoft), and cloud environments (Azure)
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools
- Understanding of security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST)
- Knowledge of IAM, encryption, and common attack vectors
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Must be able to work in Ireland unrestricted without sponsorship
