We are looking for an experienced GSE Technician to join a busy airside engineering team at Stansted Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced airport environment, maintaining and repairing a wide range of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) critical to daily flight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of GSE including:
- Baggage handling equipment
- Tow tractors
- Ground power units
- Air conditioning units
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
- Respond to breakdowns and urgent repair requests on the airfield
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering / Vehicle Maintenance GSE, HGVs, plant, or heavy vehicles
- Strong knowledge of:
- Hydraulics
- Diesel engines
- Electrical systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment
- Full UK driving licence (C1 or HGV beneficial but not essential)

Rotating shifts (early / late)
