I am seeking an experienced Platform/DevOps Engineer to join my client's DevOps team in Belfast, Dublin or Malta. Excellent opportunity for growth and development Hybrid position – 2 days/week in the office €85k-€90k/year + Benefits Your Role: Design and implement Kubernetes (EKS) platforms on AWS Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Harness.io Implement and manage observability with Datadog across platforms Support and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure Review, audit, optimize, and document deployment processes Adhere to change management processes aligned with ISO27001 and PCI-DSS Enable self-service capabilities for development teams Assist with incident response and platform support Optimize cloud costs across infrastructure Your Experience & Qualifications: 3+ years’ experience in a senior Platform/DevOps role Strong Kubernetes experience, particularly with AWS EKS Expertise in AWS ECS and Datadog observability Solid AWS knowledge across compute, database, and security services Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform A solid understanding of container security and best practices Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) Experience in regulated environments (PCI-DSS preferred) A self-motivated, communicative, and adaptable approach The ability to manage projects with multiple workstreams and deadlines Experience with GitOps workflows, service mesh technologies (Istio), and platform engineering concepts – good to have Knowledge of AWS cost optimization, Linux administration, and database administration – good to have Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies – good to have Financial services domain expertise – good to have Please APPLY directly or contact me on (url removed) / (phone number removed) for further information
