We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our client, based in Downpatrick, as a full-time Work Coach. This is a long-term temporary position. Our client is Northern Ireland's leading public sector employer.
Work Coach Pay Rate: £14.93 per hour

Work hours: Monday to Friday
Job Duties:
- Work Coaches are based in the Front Office of a Jobcentre Plus office.
- Assist claimants in securing and maintaining employment tailored to their needs.
- Understand the claimant journey and signpost to relevant support channels.
- Use various channels including face-to-face or telephone interviews, emphasizing the use of the Journal for recording activities.
- Provide advice, guidance, coaching, and information to empower claimants towards self-sufficiency.
- Explain next steps, responsibilities, and the consequences of non-compliance, including reporting changes of circumstances and sanctions.
- Build constructive relationships with external delivery partners.
- Attend mandatory training, with at least one day requiring travel to another area. No leave permitted during training and consolidation period.
